We serve three fresh, homestyle meals Monday through Saturday, plus Sunday brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM in our communal dining spaces. Count on food that’s nutritious, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented every day.

Our on site culinary team is passionate about preparing hearty, wholesome, and healthy meals with regional flair for our residents to enjoy daily. We develop creative menus, use seasonal and locally available ingredients, and even provide table service!

Full Meal Time Independence
Our residents have access to many communal areas in our Independent Living community. That extends to meal times! They can prepare and eat their own meals in their apartments or enjoy our chef prepared meals in our communal dining spaces.
If you would like to dine with your family, we can also make our private dining room available. We even have a communal resident kitchen. The options are endless!

Meal times should never be boring. Rest assured, they aren’t at Asher Point Independent Living of Sherman! We’re always brainstorming and coming up with new recipes for our residents to try. They can expect variety every day, including made to order entrees with seasonal ingredients!

We value socializing at meal times so much that we host a large midday lunch, giving our residents more time to socialize with more of their neighbors all at once.
Full Service Dining
Our residents can prepare their own snacks and meals in their own homes. However, once they join us in our shared dining room, they can enjoy full service dining!
Full service dining involves table service from one of our friendly staff members. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any made to order entrees you’ve chosen for lunch and supper. We even take care of all the washing up once you’ve finished!
